This happened a couple of weeks before Christmas, but I’ve been SO busy that it’s just now getting blogged. I’m excited to share this personal project with you. I don’t know if you realize this, but most photographers have a bucket list of things/events/types of sessions that we want to document. For me, fog was pretty high on that list. Misty clouds on the ground add a mystery and calm to what might otherwise be mundane. Well, one Friday night in early December, it was a bit foggy. I did not have any commitments the next morning, so I set my alarm before sunrise and hoped that some of the fog would still be there. And yes it was! I woke up the next morning to glorious, pea soup fog! I ended up going to a few locations in Ortega and on the Westside of Jacksonville. And let’s just say it was a wise decision to grab my tall boots as I headed out the door. Here are some of my favorite images from that morning. The wake up to the gift of fog + no commitments, I plan to head downtown Jacksonville!
