{Model Call for a Jacksonville Family}

           I don’t know how many of you saw the “Duck Dynasty” Christmas episode last month, but it gave me a really cool idea!  Willie’s Christmas gift to Korie was a giant canvas of one of her favorite family pictures.  But it wasn’t just a normal picture.  Instead of just standing there and smiling, each family member was posed with something that represented him/her.  Of course, there will ALWAYS be a place for formal family portraits, but I think this is a unique and refreshing alternative!

           When my family has a “personality portrait” taken, we’ve decided that my husband will pose with his grill.  (He has a really awesome, one-of-a-kind, hand-made grill.)  Of course, I’ll pose with my camera.  My oldest son will have a football.  My middle child will pose with his guitar.  Gracie, my youngest, will interact with our dog.

          What would YOUR family be doing in a personality portrait???

          I’m searching for a fun family with lots of personality who is willing to be my first subject for a personality portrait.  This family must:

  • live in the Jacksonville area
  • include 4-7 people
  • be 6 years old and up
  • be available for a photo session in February
          To be considered for this opportunity, please send the following information to
  • a family picture (quality can be anywhere from a cell phone pic to professional)
  • a list of each person’s name, age, and what he/she would be holding or doing
          The deadline for submissions is Monday, January 27th at 8 pm.  I will announce the winner on my blog later that evening.

          The chosen family will receive a FREE session and a FREE 8×10 or 11×14 print.  I am excited to see all of the creative submissions!!!
