SUSAN DIXON PHOTOGRAPHY

I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in Jacksonville, Florida. Since 2014, I’ve been cultivating my photography skills and capturing beautiful, film-inspired images for my clients.

My aesthetic is bright, joyful, and full of Southern charm! I love things that have a PAST…..so you’ll often find me photographing in areas like St Augustine, Savannah, and many historical areas in Jacksonville.  

It’s important for me to get to know my clients. I give a lot of guidance when it comes to posing. My clients trust me to follow my prompts and lean into their emotions. Each wedding and session is unique because I adapt my process to each client!

In addition to following my passion for photography, I’m also a full-time educator. I teach science at a local public high school. I love being around my students because (1) it’s important for me to give back to my community by being a positive role model and (2) they keep me young!

I’m also a photography educator. In addition to mentoring other photographers, I’ve taught several formal classes as well.

I am grateful for the loving support of my husband and three children. They are truly amazing!
